Network training offered for highly educated immigrants

News

Social networks play a crucial role to find a job in Finland! Often recruitment is done directly through networks without publishing the job advertisement. By updating your CV and building a strong network, you can boost your job seeking.

The City of Vantaa, Employment Paths for International Talents (Uudet palvelupolut korkeasti koulutetuille maahanmuuttajille) project organises a Network Training for highly educated immigrants who are looking for support in career planning. After the training, you are more familiar with Finnish working life and confident in networking and job seeking in Finland.

The online training takes place 8.-10.6. and 16.-18.6. between 9-14: group sessions are organised in the morning and afternoons are reserved for individual work.

In order to participate the training you need motivation, a computer and an internet connection. The training is organised in English. Please notice that you should commit yourself to the training for the whole duration. Your place of participation will be confirmed by e-mail. Please contact your TE office worker (or your municipality’s employment coach) before attending the training.
