The event can help you identify potential employees, interns, thesis workers and other future collaborators without having to process hundreds of applications.

We recruit participants based on the needs and desired talent profiles of the selected companies. The aim is to form multidisciplinary teams whose expertise is relevant to each challenge.

Participation introduces your company, industry and career opportunities to highly educated international professionals and students already living in Finland. It can also help you develop a more diverse talent pool for future recruitment.

Talent Vantaa and its partners manage participant recruitment, team formation, facilitation and the practical arrangements. Your company contributes the challenge, relevant background information and the expertise needed to guide the teams.

The total time commitment for your company is approximately eight hours, including preparation.

An initial idea is enough at this stage. Completing the application takes approximately 15 minutes.

If your company is selected, we will arrange an onboarding meeting to refine the challenge, agree on the desired outcome and identify the expertise the teams will need.

We will also make sure the assignment is realistic for the two-day format and that participants receive the right background information.

We use our expertise and networks to find international professionals and students with the skills your challenge requires and form multidisciplinary teams ready to work on it.

We handle participant selection and team matching. You can focus on your business until Talent Hack Day begins.

Join the teams at Talent Hack Day, introduce your challenge and answer questions at agreed times. Follow the ideas as they develop and hear the teams pitch their final solutions directly to your company.

Companies of all sizes, industries and locations are welcome to apply. You do not need to be based in Vantaa or have previous experience of hackathons or innovation events.

Approximately eight hours in total, including the application, onboarding, preparation and participation in selected parts of the event. Your representative does not need to be present throughout the full two days.

The participants are international professionals and students living in Finland. We recruit them after selecting the company challenges so that their expertise can be matched with the needs of the participating companies.

We form multidisciplinary teams based on the participants’ expertise, experience and motivation. Each team brings together complementary skills and different perspectives.

The outcome depends on your challenge. It could be a concept, development proposal, customer journey, market entry plan, prototype, service idea or recommendation for improving a product, service or process.

No. Participation does not create a recruitment obligation. However, priority may be given to companies interested in offering employment, internships, thesis projects or other opportunities for continued collaboration.

Talent Hack Day is held in English. Your company representative should be comfortable presenting the challenge and answering questions in English.
