Artificial intelligence is making the preparation of funding applications more efficient. In Vantaa, a new application is now being tested.
The tool developed by Aveksana Oy uses AI to generate the structure and content of funding proposals. The solution is already in use within research organisations, and it is now being piloted in Business Vantaa’s project funding preparation.

Aiming for Clear Savings in Time and Resources
Applying for project funding is a significant part of the work carried out by Business Vantaa’s experts. Participating in EU and national funding calls requires substantial time from preparers and funding specialists.
Aveksana Oy’s tool streamlines and accelerates the writing process. The platform produces a draft proposal by combining the user’s expertise with the specific requirements of each funding call.
During the pilot, Business Vantaa’s specialists will test the application in real funding calls. The aim is to assess the time savings, usability, user experience and, ultimately, the quality of the proposals produced.
The experiment will help determine whether the tool provides concrete benefits to the city organization. Throughout the pilot, the company will interview users, collect feedback and produce a report evaluating the benefits for the city. Aveksana Oy will also gain valuable insights into user experience and potential areas for improving the solution.
Vantaa’s Strong Interest in Innovative Solutions
Business Vantaa actively pilots and tests new technologies as part of the city’s broader testbed activities. The goal is both to enhance the city’s own development work and to provide promising startups with an opportunity to test their solutions in a real urban environment.
