Commercial plots
Commercial plots offered by the City of Vantaa are located in areas with good transport connections. New business parks and comfortable residential areas are constantly being built, for instance, in the vicinity of the international Helsinki Airport.
Located next to the international airport, the Aviapolis major region is the fastest growing business area in the Helsinki Metropolitan area. In terms of logistics, Aviapolis a great location for companies involved in international trade.
The Vehkala production area is located at the intersection of the Ring Road and other major roads. The area offers 150 hectares of land for industrial and manufacturing activities and allows for building up to 500,000 square metres of new premises.
Commercial plots located along the main railway provide an excellent location for companies that benefit from the proximity of the city centre and good transport connections.
Commercial plots for sale and lease
The city both sells and leases commercial plots. A construction obligation is included in the assignment agreement. Two thirds of the permitted building volume should typically be built within 2 years. An undeveloped plot must not be reassigned.
The property tax is determined in accordance with the Property Tax Act. The tenant does not pay property tax on the land.
