Vantaa offers companies and research, development and innovation (RDI) actors excellent testing opportunities for service and product development. One possible way to engage with Vantaa is the pilot project method. Here we bring together the product/service testing opportunities of different city divisions and projects in one place, clearly and conveniently available to everyone.
Who are pilot projects meant for?
The testing and development opportunities are intended especially for companies and RDI actors.
Pilot projects can involve
- the early testing of a new idea,
- trying out a developed solution together with end users, or
- testing products or services in a completely new operating environment.
Pilot projects can be paid or unpaid. In paid projects, the company receives payment. Paid pilot projects are always initiated through procurement.
The key business areas of our testing activities are urban food, the built environment, the learning centre of robotics and programming and AI & Digitalization. However, we are open to listen different ideas.
Pilot projects, which are in line with the themes of Vantaa strategy offer the fastest way of profitable and smooth cooperation with us.
