We offer opportunities for companies and RDI actors to develop and test smart and sustainable solutions in the urban environment, together with the city, educational institutions, companies and citizens.
Experiments can be related to open data and digitalisation, robotisation, digital twins, indoor climate solutions or the use of new materials in the built environment.

Tikkurila Competence Campus as a development environment
In the next few years, a vocational and continuous learning campus will be built in Tikkurila, Vantaa, which will include additional facilities for the Tikkurila Upper Secondary School and Varia Vocational College, the Vantaa Adult Education Centre and the Learning House. The campus will also bring together employment management, economic development services, integration and counselling services.
The campus will serve as a centre for agile and needs-driven skills development, where a digital platform will be built in addition to the physical space.
The Tikkurila Competence Campus will serve in particular students, job seekers, employers and businesses. The campus is expected to become operational during 2027.
